eco-marc : Be sure it ticks the box... before you decide

eco-marc.com has been designed to give users more information about the items carrying the eco-marc logo. With so many ethical and eco certifications now available
eco-marc hopes to draw all that information into one easy to access website.

Go to our products section and simply click on the item you’d like to find out more about. Broadly speaking information has been provided on 2 levels;

1. Independent certification, certification given to a product or producer by an independent certification body.
2. Self certification, information provided by the producer about their products and production facility.

We hope the information provided is educational, interesting and that it also helps now and in the future,
to determine the best practice when purchasing ethical and eco-friendly items.

eco-marc is not a certification mark in itself. Though we scrutinize the documents and work with producers closely we cannot guarantee authenticity 100%. To double check listings we encourage people to contact the certification body directly to see that a manufacturer is indeed listed and up to date. eco-marc cannot be held responsible for incorrect information posted on the website.
